Stairs
Treads, risers, nosing and landings fitted to match your new floor — straight, curved and mixed staircases.
Altos Flooring
Stairs are where a flooring job shows its detail. Each step is measured and cut on its own, the nosings have to line up, and the landing has to meet the floor below cleanly.
We install stair treads and risers to match the new floor — including curved staircases and stairs that come down onto a herringbone floor. Removing old carpet and prepping the steps is part of the job.
What We Do
Every tread and riser is measured and cut for its own step, so each one fits tight to the walls and stringers.
Curved and mixed stairs take more time and care; we handle them as part of our regular work.
Landings finished in the same floor, with clean nosing where they meet the next flight.
Removing old carpet, pad, tack strip and staples, and preparing each step for the new treads.
Treads that match your new LVP or wood floor, with white or contrasting risers if you prefer.
You buy the treads and material — we recommend Floor & Decor — and we quote the installation.
